Investments are subject to market risks. Content is only for educational purposes and not an investment advice. Please note we are not a SEBI Registered Research Analyst
For context: a single institutional research subscription in India starts around ₹50,000 a year, and it will not cover a ₹3,000 crore company. The coverage you are paying for here does not exist at the large brokerages, because the companies are too small for them to bother with.

The questions worth asking.
If something here is not answered, write to us and we will answer it properly rather than point you at a policy page.
Is this investment advice?
No. Empirica India is not a SEBI registered Research Analyst. Our research papers and newsletters are only for educational purposes only. We tell you what we are looking at, what we own and why. What you do with your own money is your decision, and it should be made with your own circumstances and risk tolerance in mind. If you want advice tailored to your portfolio, that is the advisory service, and it is a separate conversation.
Do you own the stocks you write about?
Often, yes, and we disclose it on every report. Our own money moves with the research rather than after it. Where a position exists, the report says so before it says anything else.
What size of companies do you cover?
Indian listed companies roughly between ₹2,000 and ₹30,000 crore. Below that band, liquidity becomes a real risk and a good thesis can sit dead for years. Above it, the research has usually already arrived and the gap we work in has closed.
I am not sure yet. What should I do?
Stay on the free plan for as long as you like. Read six weeks of Signal, watch the watchlist change, and see whether the reasoning holds up against what the market does next. Nobody should pay for research they have not tested first.
Can I subscribe from outside India?
Yes. The letters and the research are available wherever you are. If you are an NRI looking for help with your wider portfolio rather than a subscription, book a call instead, because the advisory has different considerations depending on where you are resident.
Can I cancel?
Any time, and you keep access until the period you have paid for ends. No forms and no retention call; reply to any issue and we will close it.
Do you manage money directly?
Separately, yes. Empirica advises HNI families, working professionals and NRIs across the whole portfolio: fixed income, mutual funds, listed and unlisted equity and AIFs. That is a different service with its own terms and a published fee schedule. Book a call if that is what you need.
Still deciding? Start with the free weekly and pay us nothing until the reasoning has convinced you.
