By creating an account, subscribing to a plan or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Nature of the Service

Empirica provides research, curated model portfolios, market data and educational content for informational purposes only. The Service does not constitute investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security. Please read our Disclaimer carefully.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions, Billing & Payments

Certain features require a paid subscription. Plan prices, durations and inclusions are shown on our Pricing page. Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment gateway (Razorpay); we do not store your full card details. By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge the applicable fees. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) copy, redistribute, resell or publicly share subscriber-only content; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its data; (c) use automated means to scrape or extract content; or (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including research, portfolios, text, graphics and logos — is the property of Empirica or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access the content for your own use only.

7. Third-Party Data & Links

Market prices, NAVs and index data may be sourced from third parties and can be delayed or inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of such data. The Service may contain links to third-party sites, which we do not control or endorse.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Empirica shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any investment decisions or losses arising from your use of the Service. Investments are subject to market risks; you invest at your own risk.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
